Vidacrete Composition

Vidacrete™ is a new building material created from a specific combination of sand, cement, water, fibre, and expanded polystyrene (EPS) beads coated by a proprietary compound.  Technically, it is a “lightweight fibre-reinforced cementitious composite.” The composition of this proprietary mixture is under patent pending worldwide.

Aerated and warmed sand is mixed with water and the cement powder. The fibre, EPS beads, and our proprietary compound are added, and the Vidacrete™ is dispensed onto panel casting elements.
Vidacrete™ panels do not require reinforcing steel, rebar or wood interior framing to build a bungalow or low-story structure.  However, it is very easy to integrate these other building materials if a building design or regional building code requires them.

Vidacrete™ will be undergoing tests to meet the International Building Code (IBC) standards. Stringent testing is required because we are pioneering the high speed manufacturing of these innovative building panels.
