Mix, Pour and Cure
Aerated and warmed sand is mixed with water and the cement powder. The fibre, EPS beads, and our proprietary additives are added in a twin shaft mixer, and the Vidacrete™ is dispensed onto panel casting elements. The casting elements have been pre-treated with a release agent, formwork installed, and then labeled according to the AutoCAD schematics for the production of the panelized designs.
After dispension, panels are transported along the conveyor system into the curing carousel. This equipment in combination with the lift system moves the casting elements into the curing cycle for 3 hours. Vidacrete™ produces enough heat by itself to speed the advance cure so that we can handle panels in less than 10 hours.
The panels are then either moved onto pallets and into the storage yard prior to shipping to the customer, or they are direct loaded to flatbed truck storage for immediate transfer.
